‘Lasagne’
King’s Head Theatre
July 2023
Directed by Sarah Stacey

In July 2023, I had a rehearsed reading of my new play Lasagne, at the King’s Head as part of David Cumming’s Queer Futures season. The play was written on the Soho Writers’ Lab last year and this was its first time in front of an audience.

Lasagne follows recent exes Sadie and Becca as they both accidentally become caught up with the complicated and intriguing Wyatt family.

This multi-generational exploration of one family’s flaws, failures and farces spans the course of a single, bizarre evening. But as Sadie and Becca try to impress, understand, and finally accept this chaotic family, they are also forced to learn more about each other. And, ultimately, themselves.
